(RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC) In March, The Generation Companies  LLC (Generation) opened The Candlewood Suites-Miramar Beach/Destin, a 75-suite mid-price extended-stay hotel at 11396 Highway 98 West.  Generation is a Research Triangle Park, North Carolina owner, developer, asset manager and operator of extended-stay hotels in Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Virginia.  The project, started in the fall of 2007, opened on schedule and in time for the busy spring break season.
