(RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC) The Generation Companies, LLC (Generation) a Research Triangle Park, North Carolina-based real estate developer, asset manager and operator of extended-stay hotels in North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, Kansas and Arkansas has been awarded the management contract for the Lenexa, Kansas Suburban Extended Stay Hotel located at 15151 W 101st Terrace. The 118-room economy-priced hotel, currently under construction and slated to open in March, was developed and is owned by Lenexa Lodging, LLC, a Kansas limited liability company, and Nueterra Real Estate Development, LLC of Leawood, Kansas, a full spectrum real estate development and management services company specializing in medical, commercial and hospitality projects.
According to Nueterra Vice-President of Development Jon Campbell, it’s the right hotel at the right location and the right time. “The hotel is highly accessible within a strong commercial corridor, providing easy access to the businesses our guests will be visiting as well as to the Kansas Speedway and the Legends shopping area,” he explained. Nueterra President and CEO Kevin Stuckey believes partnering with Generation to manage the hotel will benefit not only the two companies but also the community. “The Generation Companies has a long track record of successful, profitable operations,” he noted. “People are a key factor in any successful venture and Generation is populated with professionals with can-do attitudes.”
“We’re thrilled to be chosen to manage this second project for this noted development group lead by Kevin Stuckey,” said Generation Vice-President of Operations Ron Jacobsen. “They constructed a marvelous hotel this past year in Bentonville for us to operate and we look forward to more of the same in Lenexa.”
The Suburban Extended Stay Hotel Lenexa room rates are expected to range from $69 to $109, depending on the length of stay. Rooms are equipped with a complete kitchen, including microwave, full size refrigerator, stove-top, coffee-maker, cookware and utensils; complimentary high speed internet (wireless/Ethernet); cable television; weekly housekeeping service; and on-site guest laundry. The Suburban Extended-Stay Hotel brand is a part of Choice Hotels International, home of brands such as Comfort Inn and Sleep Inn.
