H. Mark Daley,
III
Mr. Daley, III is the founder of The Generation
Companies and has served as its President
since 1996. He has been active in commercial
real estate endeavors his entire career.
Initially Mr. Daley worked as a commercial
real estate officer and credit administrator
for Wachovia Bank, and in 1991 went to work
for his father, H. Mark Daley, Jr., as Vice
President-Real Estate for Daley Corporation.
In 1994 Mr. Daley was made President of
Daley Corporation and Daley Investments,
Inc., two closely held real estate investment
management and development companies engaged
exclusively in activities for their own
corporate accounts. Mr. Daley graduated
Cum Laude from Oral Roberts University (Tulsa,
OK) with a B.S. in Business Administration.
H. Mark Daley,
Jr.
Mr. Daley, Jr. has been on the Generation
Board since the company was founded in 1996.
Mr. Daley has over 35 years experience in
the lodging and real estate industries.
Currently Mr. Daley serves as President
and Chairman of the Board of Daley Investments,
Inc. and is a local Director for Wachovia
Bank in Rocky Mount, NC. Mr. Daley regularly
contributes his time to a multitude of missions
and church-related organizations and ministries.
He earned his B.A. in Sociology from the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
in 1964.
Vincent C. Andracchio,
II
Mr. Andracchio is an original Generation
board member. Mr. Andracchio has been with
Guardian Corporation, a restaurant development
and operating company, since 1989. Initially
serving as Director of Corporate Assets,
he now leads the company as President and
Chief Operating Officer and serves on the
Guardian Board of Directors. Mr. Andracchio's
other Board responsibilities include Centura
Bank's local Board, Rocky Mount Chamber
of Commerce, Rocky Mount Boys and Girls
Club and Trustee for N. C. Wesleyen College.
He graduated from Wake Forest University
with a B.S. in Business Administration.
Ronald S. Jacobsen
Mr. Jacobsen joined Generation's Board in
January of 1998. Mr. Jacobsen has over ten
years experience in health care and lodging
operations and currently serves as Vice
President of Operations for the Generation
Companies. Prior to this position, Mr. Jacobsen
served as Vice President of Operations for
Daley Corporation. His health care industry
responsibilities were Administrator, and
prior to that, Corporate Operations Manager
for a regional home health care agency.
Mr. Jacobsen graduated from Oral Roberts
University with a B.S. in Business Management.
Michael Jongkind
Mr. Jongkind has been focused on technology
business development throughout his career.
Recently, he was VP of Business Development
at SND, a software integration firm focused
on the needs of the pharmaceutical industry.
At SND, he was responsible for business
partnerships and for the search process
that led to SND's eventual sale to e-Presence
(formerly Banyan Systems) for $32 million
in cash and stock. Prior to his engagement
with SND, Michael was a co-founder and VP
of E-Comm, where he focused on business
development and revenue generation from
the company's inception in 1993 until its
acquisition by XcelleNet in 1996. Earlier,
Michael was involved in key sales, marketing
and business development roles with Bellsouth/RAM
Mobile Data and Nynex. Michael holds a B.A.
in Telecommunications from Indiana University.
Andrew G. Bene
Mr. Bene joined Generation's Board in February 2008. Mr. Bene has over 38 years of experience in the investment banking industry and is currently Executive Vice-President of MB Real Estate LLC in Manhattan. Prior to joining MB Real Estate in 2007, Bene was Managing Director and Group Leader at Sandler O'Neil and Partners. He also served as Managing Director of Capital Markets at Marshall and Stevens, and Managing Director/Partner of the Global Capital Markets Practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities LLC. Andy holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and graduate degrees from the Graduate School of Banking of Brown University and the Graduate Real Estate Institute of New York University. He is also a visiting professor at Yale University, lecturing on real estate finance. Bene is a licensed real estate broker in the State of New York and holds both the Series 7 and Series 63 Securities licenses.
